She then curled lashes and applied a layer of L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara ($10). “Retrace liner using a taupe-gray shimmery shadow to add dimension to the lash line,” advises Strettell. She made sure to blend the edges to create a shimmery, soft smoky eye. Next, she swept Brilliant Eyes Liquid Eyeshadow in Amethyst Quartz ($12) across Mirren’s lids and under the eye. To create the accompanying eye look, Strettell applied the L’Oréal Paris Le Liner Signature Eye Liner in Taupe Grey Tweed ($9) along the upper and lower lash lines and smudged with an eyeliner brush to create a soft smoky liner.
Next was the Age Perfect Radiant Concealer in Sand Sable ($14) on the under-eye area, around the nose and outside lip line “to lighten and brighten the skin.” Next, she applied Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation in Golden Beige ($17) all over the face, neck and ears and buffed it into skin using a buffing brush to achieve a “flawless, light and natural-looking face.” Along with SPF 50, the hydrating foundation includes vitamin B and an actual anti-aging serum for a plump, dewy-looking finish that won’t settle into fine lines. Strettell prepped Mirren’s skin using L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Rosy Tone Moisturizer ($20). As the face of L’Oréal Paris’s Age Perfect Makeup collection, we’re not surprised every item from Mirren’s look can be picked up at the drugstore. Donning a head-to-toe look fit for royalty, Mirren paired her pale pink gown with a matching headband, chic silver updo and youthful rosy makeup, courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Jo Strettell.
